Ángela Varo, an Andalusian violinist and composer, is a beacon of cultural fusion in her music. Hailing from Baena, Córdoba, she absorbed the rich traditions of opera and flamenco as a kid, sparking a lifelong passion for blending diverse musical styles. At Berklee College of Music, Varo earned dual degrees in contemporary writing and production and jazz performance, with a minor in jazz composition. Furthering her exploration, she pursued a master's degree at the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute and engaged with the Jazz and Gender Justice Institute, all possible thanks to Berklee’s Full Tuition and Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Scholarships.
