Bees Deluxe isn't your average blues band. They're on a mission to take the electric-analog blues of Chicago in the 60's, the Blue Note catalog, and the funk of New Orleans, and bring it all into the 21st century. And they're doing it with a contagious enthusiasm that's winning audiences all over the country.

With British guitar monster Conrad Warre at the helm, Carol Band on keyboards, harmonica, and vocals, Jim Gildea on bass and vocals, and Paul Giovine on drums and percussion, Bees Deluxe has created a sound that's impossible to resist. Each member of the band brings their own experience to the mix, creating a metamorphic foundation that's both innovative and wildly entertaining.

Their music has been compared to what might happen if Freddie King took a lot of acid, wrote a song with Pat Metheny, and asked a strung-out Stevie Ray Vaughan to take a solo. It's complex, thoughtful, emotional, and above all, incredibly danceable. Bees Deluxe has pushed the limits of the blues, color outside the lines of convention, and do it all with impeccable musicality, originality, and a touch of insanity.

Their all-original acid-blues album Voice of Dog, produced by Joe Egan on Slapping Cat Records, earned critical acclaim in 2018. And their break-neck schedule of touring has taken them all over the country, including a wild night at Cleveland's House of Blues, headlining at Earl's Hideaway in Sebastian, Florida, and gigging up and down the East Coast. It's all polished their repertoire to steely precision and inspired their new CD, Mouthful of Bees.
