Pamela Des Barres is an American rock and roll groupie, writer, musician, and actress. Growing up in southern California, Miss Pamela became involved in the local music scene finding herself as babysitter to Frank Zappa's children, and that was just the beginning.

Along the way, Miss Pamela encountered and befriended musicians including Jimmy Page, Chris Hillman, Jim Morrison, Robert Plant, Frank Zappa, Gene Simmons, Waylon Jennings, Ringo Starr, and many others.
